Welcome to Carsavaar. By accessing or using our website (https://carsavaar.com) and our self-drive car rental services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 21 years old to rent a self-drive car through Carsavaar.
• You must hold a valid Indian driving licence that is at least 1 year old.
• International driving permits (IDP) are accepted for foreign nationals.
• Premium and luxury vehicles may require the driver to be 25 years or older.

2. Booking & Inquiry Process

• All bookings on Carsavaar begin as inquiries. Submitting the form does not confirm a booking.
• Our team will contact you within 5 minutes with a custom quote based on your requirements.
• The booking is confirmed only after you accept the quoted price and terms verbally or in writing.
• Carsavaar reserves the right to decline a booking if the requested vehicle is unavailable or the customer does not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Required Documents

• Valid Indian driving licence (original, not expired).
• Government-issued ID proof — Aadhaar card, PAN card, or Passport.
• Booking confirmation from Carsavaar.
• Failure to present valid documents at pickup may result in cancellation without refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Carsavaar follows a custom quote model — prices vary based on vehicle, duration, distance, and dates.
• The quoted price includes the base rental. Fuel, tolls, and parking are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
• A security deposit may be required at the time of pickup, refundable upon safe return.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Vehicle Use & Responsibilities

• The vehicle must be used lawfully and responsibly at all times.
• Drunk driving, racing, sub-letting, or using the car for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
• The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, fines, challans, and toll charges during the rental period.
• Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted. A cleaning fee may be charged if violated.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

• Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
• Cancellations within 24 hours may attract a cancellation fee as communicated during booking.
• No-shows (failure to pick up the vehicle) may be charged the full rental amount.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days.

7. Insurance & Damage

• Basic insurance coverage is included with every rental.
• The renter is liable for damages not covered under insurance, including damage due to negligence, rash driving, or driving under the influence.
• In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform Carsavaar and the local police.
• Additional protection plans may be offered at the time of booking.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Carsavaar acts as a facilitator connecting customers with verified rental partners.
• Our liability is limited to the booking amount paid by the customer.
• We are not liable for personal injury, loss of belongings, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented vehicle.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third-party marketers.

10. Modifications

Carsavaar reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
