Shanichara Temple: Shri Shanichara Temple is under the management of the religious trust and endowment department of the Madhya Pradesh government, and it's gradually being developed as a prominent religious tourist destination. In recent years, due to the increasing number of devotees, the temple complex has seen significant expansion in terms of development and facilities. Every Saturday, thousands of devotees from various states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, as well as from countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand, visit the temple. An annual special fair is organized on Shanichari Amavasya, attracting lakhs of devotees.

Sihoniya: Sihoniya, a town in Morena district, within the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, is sometimes referred to as Suhania and was known as Siṃhapānīya in medieval times. With a rich history, the town boasts several notable monuments, one of which holds national significance and is safeguarded by the Archaeological Survey of India.

The most significant temple in Sihoniya is dedicated to Lord Shiva, presently known as the Kakanmaṭh, and falls under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India. This temple, constructed on a grand scale during the eleventh century, stands as one of the few surviving royal temples from the Kacchapaghāta dynasty.

Chausath Yogini Temple:The Chausath Yogini temple is situated in Mitaoli village, sometimes spelled as Mitawali or Mitavali, near Padaoli in the Morena district, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Gwalior. An inscription dating back to 1323 CE (Vikram Samvat 1383) attributes the construction of this temple to King Devapala of the Kachchhapaghata dynasty, who reigned from around 1055 to 1075. It is believed that the temple served as an educational center for astrology and mathematics, particularly focusing on the movement of the Sun.

Recognizing its historical significance, the Archaeological Survey of India has designated this temple as an ancient and historic monument under Act No. LXXI of 1951, dated November 28, 1951.

Sabalgarh Fort: The historical significance of this fort is nothing short of immense. It is located in the small town of Sabalgarh, approximately 70 kilometers from Morena city, and it holds within its monumental structure a treasure trove of fascinating historical accounts from the region. Originally built during the medieval period by a local Gujjar king named Gopal Singh, the fort fell under the control of the Scindias during the 18th century, subsequently becoming a stronghold for the Scindia dynasty. Over the years, many Scindia princes and princesses sought refuge within its walls for leisure and solitude. Although much of the fort now lies in ruins, those with an appreciation for historical monuments will undoubtedly sense the lingering aura of its bygone glory.

National Chambal Sanctuary: Not too far from the heart of Morena city lies a unique wildlife sanctuary solely dedicated to aquatic animals, making it a standout destination in Madhya Pradesh. The Chambal River serves as the centerpiece of this sanctuary, housing a population of aquatic creatures. While the river is home to crocodiles, dolphins, and turtles, it's essential to note that the crocodiles and dolphins found here are of exceptionally rare species, specifically the Gharial Crocodile and Ganges River Dolphin. These remarkable creatures possess an exotic allure, and observing them in their natural habitat is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
